What are cookies?

Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003

1. The interested party has the right to receive confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning him/her, even if said data has not yet been registered, and for it to be communicated in an intelligible form.

2.The interested party has the right to receive indications on:

a) where the personal data comes from;

b) how processing takes place and for what purpose;

3.The interested party has the right to have:

a) its data updated, rectified and when there is an interest, integrated;

b)  its cancellation, transformation into an anonymous format or blocked if said data should have been processed in violation to the law; including any data that does not have to be kept for the purposes said data was collected or processed for;

c) certification that the parties to whom the data has been transferred or disseminated have been notified of the operations specified in points a) and b), also regarding their content, with the exception of the case where notification is deemed impossible or requires the use of means clearly disproportionate to the right being protected.
