New High-Efficiency Technologies for Saber
This project was funded under the Regional Program PR FESR 2021–2027 (Action a3.2.1), which supports innovative and technological investments by companies, including initiatives for digital transformation.
Objectives:
– Develop and streamline the company’s operations with a lean approach by reducing supply chain process and activity times, minimizing flow sequencing, and maximizing flexibility, visibility, and communication;
– Mitigate risk and increase resilience to changing market scenarios;
– Make the company faster and more flexible through warehouse mapping and information standardization;
– Increase competitiveness and business performance through the introduction of new production solutions and techniques;
– Increase company competitiveness and create new jobs;
– Respond to the changing needs of global markets and increasingly demanding international customers, creating added value.
Results:
– Simplify and increase the efficiency of logistics operations;
– Eliminate process errors and waste in the production chain;
– Improve management and control of supply chain processes by optimizing resources and order flow;
– reduce housing and maintenance costs: automation prevents service interruptions that could slow down the company’s entire production operations;
– optimize space, inventory, and stock management;
– reduce the risk of damage to goods;
– create a safer workplace: automation significantly reduces human error and health risks for workers, who are relieved of stressful or physically demanding and repetitive tasks;
